For 150 years, in its historic headquarters of Macherio, only a few kilometres away from Milan, Rivolta Carmignani has been producing signature linen, featuring top-quality fabrics and tailoring expertise
as an excellent Made-in-Italy ambassador at the most prestigious hotels and restaurants in the world.
A careful and in-depth study in the historical archive of the company by the creative director, Adolfo Carrara, was the starting point from which the inspiration for the home collection was taken.
The protagonist of the stand is the bed which, embellished by the Shangri-La Collection, allows Rivolta Carmignani tailoring know-how to be highlighted thanks to the embroideries of the bed linens and the uniqueness of the precious jacquard fabrics.
Passion and expertise of the company find concrete proof in the elegant Shangri-La collection, characterized by a sequence of Oriental patterns. Lights effects created by the clever jacquard technique of Rivolta Carmignani enhance the essentiality of the motif and the agility of its movement. Precious yarns of pure cotton generate sophicated sateen with soft and silky hand that accompany sleep in full relaxation. While the with terry towels, with embroidery in contrasting colour, envelop the most intimate moment of well-being with exclusive elegance.
Among the proposals in terms of raw materials, the company chooses hemp, both for the bed collection and bath and table collections. From the Lounge collection, embellished by the precious ‘inverted’ Bourdon stitch embroidered border, a unique tailoring process created by Rivolta Carmignani, to Ecurie d’ Angers, characterized by hand-mad sartorial stitching. The softness of the pure cotton sateen and the soft terry towels add a touch of elegance to the bedroom and bathroom.
The Oriental inspiration is echoed in the small jacquard pattern of the precious cotton sateen of Resort collection. The precious long-staple cotton (600 TC), the most advanced textile know-how and the care for details and finishings make Resort the perfect product for the most refined customers.
Continuing along the set-up of the stand, the classic Royal collection stands out, where a golden thread highlights the shape of the tailor-made motifs thanks to the experience and the clever use of technology.
